Commercial Gas can be used in hotels, restaurants where they have to pay basic customs duty 5%, additional custom duty 8%, central excise duty 8% as they have to pay according to the states.
It has a total weight of 45-50 Kg, brand having Indian Oil Corporation Limited capacity of LPG gas having a weight 19 Kg and the colour of the cylinder is blue.
Differences between Commercial Gas and Cooking Gas
Cooking gases used in a house and users don’t need to pay extra charges or taxes in comparison to Commercial Gas users. Commercial gas users have to pay basic customs duty five percent, additional custom duty of eight percent central excise duty of eight percent as they have to pay according to their states.

Important Information before having a connection of LPG
Person can take one connection with one Id even it will be Bharat Gas, Indane or HP. Multipurpose connections not allowed with same Id. If you are taking a connection at your hometown then you need only three documents that are Aadhar Card, Pan Card and Two Passport Size Photographs.
But if you are taking connection in another state then in addition you have to take previous two months electricity bill and a rent agreement too.
Informed you that if you are returning your home town and having a connection from other state then there is also an option that you can transfer your connection in your home town with some formalities. Please make sure about everything before taking a connection.
